From the light in my window he can see into me But I cannot see him until he is close Breathing, with a smile at my window He comes to take me Turn me round and round Come out and play Come play Lie still Lie still Lie still.
Little rhymes and little songs Pieces of the forest in my hair and clothes Sometimes I see him near me when I know he can’t be there Sometimes I feel him near me and I know it is something just to bear.
When I call out No one can hear me When I whisper, he thinks the message Is for him only. My little voice inside my throat I always think there must be something That I’ve done Or something I can do But no one no one comes to help, He says, A little girl like you.
Anna K ( Iconic Beauty) I need to stop dreaming about taking you there and diving in the stream of the ancient debris If I close my eyes I'm in your room surrounded by a mute sound of written paper A bowl filled with ink and stained flowers Blood comes out of my eyes and tears mark my face in a sad grin of neon madness I miss your absence (Ilaria)
I'm still working on the series 'Iconic Beauty' I like to practice on Photoshop, I'm totally self-taught and still learning, but I enjoy to use it and to develope my ideas in a shorter time than with traditional media. This time I worked on Chaterine Denevue, Kate Moss, Marianne Faithfull and Jane Birkin, gave them new characteristics through the digital collage, using malformed or unique features and details to recreate my personal beauty standards.
This is another of my works for the collective exhibition 'Illustrissima fiaba' in June, I'm working on the 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', too bad that the scanner is too small, I need to take better pictures of them for the catalogue, in the Kansas again with uncle Henry and auntie Em:
I really can't think about the name Henry without singing Nick Cave's 'Papa won't leave you Henry'...I'm listen as always his records while I'm working
