Sue Lyon

Sue Lyon was the youngest of five children, her father died when she was only ten months old and she was sent to modeling at a very young age in order to bring cash to her family.
She become Lolita when she was 15 years old and during her whole career she received much of the morbid attention that the fictional character did, trapping her forever in the damned souls limb of Nabokov's creature.
She struggled with manic depression through all her life and she was diagnosed as bipolar.
Today she lives in Los Angeles, she divorced several times and she stopped acting in 1980, she avoids any interview, photograph or film role since then.

Beauty Icons

I'm still working on the series 'Iconic Beauty' I like to practice on Photoshop, I'm totally self-taught and still learning, but I enjoy to use it and to develope my ideas in a shorter time than with traditional media.

This time I worked on Chaterine Denevue, Kate Moss, Marianne Faithfull and Jane Birkin,gave them new characteristics through the digital collage, using malformed or unique features and details to recreate my personal beauty standards.

This is another girl for my little project 'Iconic Beauty'.
I'm experimenting with the most unforgettable and timeless Icons of the last century, trying to give them a new and modern identity. What remains of beauty if you change their distinguishing features adding eerie and disturbing details: a harelip, a broken tooht or cat pupils?
