I'm experimenting with the most unforgettable and timeless Icons of the last century, trying to give them a new and modern identity. What remains of beauty if you change their distinguishing features adding eerie and disturbing details: a harelip, a broken tooht or cat pupils?

This is another of my works for the collective exhibition 'Illustrissima fiaba' in June, I'm working on the 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz', too bad that the scanner is too small, I need to take better pictures of them for the catalogue, in the Kansas again with uncle Henry and auntie Em:

Ilaria's Shrine

I'm working on my own teenager years shrine as installation for my bags display, I get very emotional while making it, I've used old letters, my school diary pages, Nirvana's song lyrics and my own jewelery.
I'll show it as soon as possible because I feel that isn't still complete.
Meanwhile I'll post some teenager rooms and display pictures that have inspired me a lot.

Third Eye Bear

This is another illustration I've made for the monsters toys and babies serie,  I'm still working on my illustrated bags project, this week they'll arrive and I'm still very unsure about what to do with them..
I'm getting the advice of printing my paintings on them, but I really don't know, maybe I'll do different things.

Naughty girls need love too

I'm working on some illustrations for an event, a sort of  "Art car boot sale" that will take place soon, organized by my  fairy godmother and gallery owner Barbara.
I'm having fun creating all these naughty girls and imagining them on bags or t-shirts and wondering about their adoptions, because as the quote from this post says : 'naughty girls need love too'....
I've just find out that is a porn movie title or a Samantha Fox song,
so it will definitely be my project name!
